My name is Benjamin Kiser and I live in the beautiful mountains of Floyd County, Virginia. I built a log cabin just a couple of miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway in July of 2003. I am blessed with a wonderful family: Holly, my wife, and three great children, Alexis, Levi, adn Adelee. We both grew up here in Floyd and we are blessed to be able to raise our family here in the country.
Ben worked for Carilion Clinic as a System Engineer in the IT Department after graduating from ECPI College with a degree in Computer Electronics. In 2007, he discovered that even in a small town, most homes and small businesses relied on their computers daily. Ben begin to use his on the job computer experience along with becoming certified in Microsoft, A+, and Citrix to provide services such as routine cleanup and maintenance, installing wireless routers, and ordering new pcs and laptops.
Eventually, he began to network small businesses, installing cable in new buildings, and setting up home networks. His computer repair business began as a side business and a way to help friends and family with their computer needs but due to the growing demands of technology in the everyday world, the side business steadily grew. In November of 2008, after 9 years with Carilion Clinic, Ben felt the need to focus on his computer repair business and Kiser Computer Consulting, LLC was born. Kiser Computer Consulting, LLC is a small based company that provides computer repair to individuals and small businesses. It excels in customer satisfaction due to its personal detail in explaining the why and how behind solving each customers’ computer problem.
Ben currently has hundreds clients in, Floyd County, and in surrounding areas. He has been able to help small businesses such as lawyers, land developers, contractors, chiropractors, doctors, nurseries, local grocery store owners, as well as many individuals and families.
